Independent magazine Project
Brief
To pick a topic and design an independent magazine publication. I chose to focus my topic on conspiracy theories as I have an already interest in the area. It also allowed me to experiment more with type and layout as the topic is quite out there in itself.
Research
I started my project off by looking at existing magazine publication such as these two above SCREAM and RueMorgue they are horror based magazine but I thought that may relate to my magazine, in the sense that conspiracy theories can be dark and weird. I wanted to go with a small size magazine as I wanted to take inspiration of the little black books you can buy as it always made me think that when your in a competition or working there is always someone writing notes in a little black book and also its easy to carry around in your bag.
